Why is it important to create and customize ads?

Our platform automatically runs product carousels that show a dynamic selection of all the products on your website. These ads are super important and have good results, but it is advisable to add some ads that personalize your communication even more.

Creatively showing the voice of your brand through ads with eye-catching images is an important complement to the ads that run automatically on our platform.

These ads will make your potential customers pay more attention to what you have to offer and enter the products you suggest, bringing them closer to the moment of purchase!

First of all, what is an image and video carousel?

It is a type of ad by sequence, static. That is, in the ad you will show several still images, which users will be able to see when they click on the arrow that will take them to the next image.

Unlike the product carousel, we will not automatically lift the images from the site but you will be able to upload the images or videos you want. This carousel will always show those creativities.

When the user clicks on any of the images, they will be redirected to the URL of your choice.



👉🏼 Where are the image or video carousels displayed?

They are displayed in the Facebook feed and Instagram feed and stories.

💡 We recommend you use this type of ad when you have, for example to focus on a particular product. Upload several images that show that product from different perspectives and in different contexts.

How to create them

👣 Step 1

From the menu, go to Facebooks Ads > Ads.

👣 Step 2

Click on the button that appears on the right side of the screen.

👣 Step 3

Choose the Image or Video Carousel option and name your ad.

👣 Step 4

You will need to upload at least 3 creatives and at most 10.

Each image will have a title (we recommend a maximum of 25 characters) a description (we recommend a maximum of 30 characters) and a URL. Take the opportunity to talk about every detail of the product and direct the ad to the specific link of the product.

👉🏼 The description will not be displayed in the instagram feed.

💡 In case you are wanting to make an ad to focus on a product, we recommend you to upload images from different angles of the product.




The images should be:

📹 Video

Aspect: 1:1 (square)

Resolution: Greater than or equal to 1080x1080 pixels

📸 Images

Aspect: 1:1 (square)

Resolution: Greater than or equal to 1080x1080 pixels

Text in image: 20% or less

👣 Step 5.

You must complete the main text, which is the text that will accompany your ad. You must make a general description of all the products that will be shown in the carousel. The maximum is 500 characters, but we recommend up to 125.





💡 In the illustration on the right side, the texts "Title" and "Description" appear. These are the texts you added to each image in the previous step.

👣 Step 6.

You can schedule your ads!

You'll have two options: leave it to be always active or have it go live on the dates you select.

Whenever you have a special promotion or something specific to communicate during a period of time, schedule your ad!

📌Clarification: the date range is inclusive. That is, the selected days are included in the period in which the ad will be displayed.

👣 Step 7

Finally, you must choose the audiences you want to target with your ad.

You can select one or all of the options.

This option allows you to create different ads with different messages for different audience segments.

💡 Our recommendation is that you leave all options selected to maximize the reach of your ad.

👣 Step 8

Now you're done with setting up your ad! 💪

On the next screen you'll see a summary of your ad - you can edit anything you want!

Once it's ready, click on the create ad button.




👣 Step 10

Done! You now have your ad created.

Remember:

👉🏼 Now we will have to wait for Facebook to approve your ads. This may take a few hours. If you get an email saying the ads are rejected, you can follow this step by step.

👉🏼 Once they are approved, your ads will start running and enter a learning period. Learn more about this here.

👉🏼 You should periodically check how your ad is running.

In the ad management screen, in the Quality Score column you will see:



💪 In green those that work best.

⏳ In light green those that could be improved.

⏸ In red the ones we recommend you pause.

🐣 You will also come across some ads that are in a learning period.

👉🏼 To edit, pause or delete your ad, click on the pencil, on the pause sign or on the three dots respectively.

Clicking on the pencil will take you to the edit screen, where you can see all the settings of your ad and modify what you think is necessary.
